What is Support Coordination?
Complex behaviours may include actions that are challenging, unsafe, or significantly impact a person’s quality of life. These behaviours can arise from a variety of factors, including disability-related needs, communication barriers, environmental triggers, or unmet sensory and emotional needs. Through the NDIS, Behaviour Support aims to understand the reasons behind these behaviours and develop strategies that reduce their occurrence while promoting positive alternatives.
